You offer a Personal Property Inventory form, why would I need this?: We hope that you would never "need" this form; however, property inventory forms are extremely important when reporting property loss. Most of the time when we respond to a report of stolen property, the property owners are unable to give the make, model and serial numbers of the property stolen or damaged as a result of a fire. People are also unable to adequately describe property that is not serialized such as jewelry or other collectables. For these reasons we urge people to complete and maintain a property inventory log and keep that log somewhere other than your residence. If you sell or add to your property, update the log. We also suggest that you take photos of property, especially jewelry, collectables, tools, guns, etc., to give us or your insurance company a better description of the missing or damaged property. Police Department

1. How do I obtain a Police Report and is there a charge?: There is a charge of $4.00 for the report. You can visit the Police Department Records Counter or send in a written request to the Police Department along with your payment. Accident reports may also be obtained online at DocView

2. Can I ride along with a Police Officer?: The Osage Beach Police Department Ride-Along program is offered primarily to residents, students and those employed within the City. For more information or to apply, Ride-Along Application

3. How do I find out who is my "Neighborhood Police Officer"?: Contact Lt. Tim Taylor and he will be happy to introduce you to your assigned Officer.

4. How can I check to see if a Registered Sex Offender lives in my neighborhood?: The Missouri State Highway Patrol maintains a user friendly database that can be accessed online at MSHP Sex Offender Registry

5. I'm going out of town, will someone check on my home?: Yes. Call the Osage Beach Police Department at 573-302-2010 to request a vacation check. Vacation security checks are limited to two week maximum time frame. Be sure you call us again when you return home to cancel the security check!
