Where can I take recycling?

The City of Osage Beach does not have an in-house recycling center, but businesses in the lake area provide various recycling options. Check out Lake Area Industries, Camdenton Recycling Center, Presidio Environmental, Laclede Industries, Rock Island Iron & Metal Recycling, GFL Environmental, Republic Services and various auto parts and home improvement stores.

Waste oil recycling at Public Works

The City of Osage Beach no longer offers waste oil recycling.

Yard and garden waste disposal at Osage Beach City Park

In November 2024, the Osage Beach Parks and Recreation Department expanded the yard waste courtesy service from seasonal to year-round at City Park (950 Hatchery Rd.). 

Residents are welcome to drop off trimmings, limbs, grass clippings, garden waste and small trees in the designated area at the south end of the park near the maintenance shed during regular hours (7 a.m. to sunset).

Tree stumps and plastic bags will not be accepted. At this time, contractors are ineligible for this service.
