Information for 2025 leaf collection will be posted in early November.
Program Dates: Nov. 25 - Dec. 31, 2024
The annual leaf collection is a courtesy service for all City of Osage Beach residents. Vacuuming up leaves every fall helps prevent damage to the storm sewer infrastructure. Also, the service reduces the amount of leaf litter entering the Lake of the Ozarks.
Check the Leaf Collection schedule two ways: The 2024 calendar or the map below.
How to use the map:
To find your street quickly, type your address in the "Find Address" field next to the magnifying glass in the top right corner. Click on the color-coded street area to see the schedule.
Use the + and - buttons in the upper left corner to zoom in and out of the map, or if you're on mobile, pinch to zoom then tap on a street.
Click the arrow in the upper left corner for a legend to keep up with your neighborhood's status. Streets will be marked gray for pending, yellow for in progress, red for delayed and green for completed.
The calendar will be updated with schedule changes as quickly as possible, but the map will always have the most recent information. If you have questions about what group your street is in, each street is categorized into East and West Side Road Groups.
The annual Leaf Collection program generally begins the week of Thanksgiving and weather permitting, will conclude by the end of December. The City will update the website with the most current information at the beginning of November each year. Schedule changes will also be updated on the interactive map.
Pile leaves in ditches or along the edge of the road. Do not create a road hazard by placing leaves in the right-of-way. Bagged leaves will be picked up if they’re packed in special biodegradable bags. No plastic trash bags will be removed.
Yes. Biodegradable bags are available for free at the Public Works main office (5757 Chapel Dr.) and at the window inside City Hall (1000 City Pkwy). Bags will be available a couple weeks before the annual leaf collection begins. Bags can also be purchased at various retailers.
Residents should allow for some flexibility in dates. Unforeseeable events like inclement weather and equipment repair may cause delays. If that happens, the map will be updated with schedule changes. Please check back for the latest information.
If a pile or bag of leaves was overlooked during your neighborhood's scheduled collection, please call the Public Works Department for service at (573) 302-2020. You can also submit a request through our online Fix It Form by checking the "leaf collection" box.
Also, city residents can drop off leaves in biodegradable bags at the Public Works facility. Yard and garden waste like grass clippings, trimmings, limbs and small trees can be dropped off at Osage Beach City Park (950 Hatchery Rd.) year-round. Plastic trash bags will not be accepted at either location.
