City Public Information Officer

The mission of the Public Information Officer (PIO) is to provide citizens and the media with timely, accurate, and relevant information about issues, programs, and services within the City of Osage Beach. The goal is to increase public awareness, foster interest, improve understanding, and encourage active engagement with the City’s initiatives and activities.

Police Department Public Information Officer

The Osage Beach Police Department's Administrative Lieutenant also functions as the department's PIO. The City PIO and the Police PIO work closely together often to keep the public informed about law enforcement topics.

The department releases a weekly statistics report that can be accessed in our Archive Center.

Media Requests

Members of the media who wish to be added to the City of Osage Beach’s media distribution list should send an email request with their name and news organization affiliation. 

The media distribution list receives:

  • Press releases
  • Police Department statistic reports
  • Meeting packets for the Board of Aldermen, Planning & Zoning Commission, etc. 
  • Alerts about closures, emergencies, and other important information as necessary

Public Records Request

To make a records request, fill out the records request form and return to the City Clerk.
