What We Do
The Administrative Division of the Osage Beach Police Department manages essential services, including the communications/911 center, criminal investigations, evidence, records, and analysis. Lieutenant Michael O’Day supervises the division, ensuring smooth operations and efficient emergency response.
Here's a brief overview of what we do:

Criminal Investigations Unit
The Criminal Investigations Unit consists of three full-time detectives who work under the supervision of the Administrative Lieutenant and Police Chief. They investigate felony and serious misdemeanor crimes, including homicide, rape, robbery, burglary, theft, child and elder abuse, and drug-related offenses within the City of Osage Beach.
Additionally, our detectives are members of the Lake Area Major Case Squad, allowing them to collaborate on complex investigations across the region.
How to Obtain Police Reports
To get a copy of a police report, visit the Police Department Records counter at City Hall or send a written request with the report number. If you don’t know the report number, include the date of the incident and the names of those involved. For printed reports, the fee is $0.10 per page.
For traffic accident reports, you can visit our document partner, Buy Crash.
