Use of the park is a privilege, not a right. Violation of the rules may prohibit you and your dog from entry. Dogs displaying inappropriate or aggressive behavior, including excessive barking, must be controlled and/or removed by their owner immediately. Additional rules are as stated:
- Owners must clean up after their dogs. Waste stations and supplies are available near the gates.
- Handlers of dogs must be 16 years of age or older.
- Children 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- The Bark Park is intended for the use of dogs, their handlers and those accompanying them. All others are prohibited.
- The small dog area is limited to dogs weighing 35 lbs. or less.
- Dogs must be leashed upon entering and exiting the Bark Park.
- All Bark Park gates must remain closed unless during entry or exit but with only one gate being opened at a time.
- Dogs must be in good health, legally licensed and shall wear a collar with owner identification at all times.
- A handler is limited to a maximum of three (3) dogs; they must maintain control, have leashes on hand equal to the number of dogs and keep the dogs within view at all times.
- Dogs that are sick, lacking current vaccinations, not fit for socializing with other dogs or dogs less than 4 months old are prohibited.
- The use of tobacco, marijuana, alcohol or illegal substances within the Bark Park is strictly prohibited.
- Profanity and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Violators will be asked to leave.
- Climbing on the fences and gates is prohibited.
