The Osage Beach 911 Communications Center serves the public 24/7 by providing information and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for the Osage Beach Police Department, Osage Beach Ambulance Service and the Osage Beach Fire Protection District.
As a fully operational 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), our center is equipped with advanced technology, including Phase II E911 equipment, which can determine the latitude and longitude of wireless 911 calls. We were also the first in the lake area to offer Text-to-911 service, ensuring greater accessibility for those in need.
We're also responsible for activating tornado sirens for Osage Beach and Lake Ozark during severe weather. Tornado sirens are tested audibly once a month, with silent tests performed weekly, to make sure the system is running smoothly.
