Inability to pay
If you are found guilty and unable to pay your fines and court costs at that time, you may request that the Judge place you on a payment plan. The Judge will ask questions to determine a plan that is reasonable for both you and the Court.
By entering into a payment plan, you agree to either make payments on a set schedule or pay the full amount by a specified date. If you are on a payment plan and are unable to make a scheduled payment or need the terms adjusted, you must appear before the Judge to request a modification.
To do so, contact the Municipal Court Clerk’s Office to explain your need to speak with the Judge about your payment plan. The Court Clerk will provide you with a date and time to appear.
