Kevin Rucker’s hometown is Ballwin, Missouri (west St. Louis County), where he started his 41-year Fire Service career and ended it as Fire Chief of the Osage Beach Fire District. Kevin and his wife Darla of 44 years have two married sons, two daughters-in-laws, two grandsons, and one granddaughter.
Kevin and Darla enjoy RV traveling, cruising and playing with the grandkids. He is also a member of the Christ the King Lutheran Church, The Camden County Local Emergency Planning Committee, and an Alderman since April 2008.
Kevin has served the City of Osage Beach as the President of the Board of Alderman, Liquor Control Board, Sewer Board Representative, TIF Chairman, and other committees. He is a past member of the Lake Ozark Day Break Rotary and the Lake Area Chamber Board of Directors. He has served as High School Youth Director at his church as well as the Board of Elders and Elder Chair. He retired after 41 years of fire department service; 20 of those years he served as Fire Chief.
